The Green Key Award Program by the Foundation for Environmental Education supporting environmentalist-entrepreneurs is an international eco-label aiming to prevent climate changes and contribute to sustainable tourism. This year, our Radisson Blu Asia Hotel is entitled to receive the Green Key again.
The Green Key Program, is the fifth program of Foundation for Environmental Education-FEE has been carried out by Çevre Eğitim Vakfı/ Foundation For Environmental Education in Türkiye since 2011.
In 1998, France joined the program, which began to be implemented in Denmark in 1994, and certified the campsites.
The Green Key Award is given for one year by the Green Key National Jury and applications are reconsidered every year. The facilities that meet the necessary criteria are given flags, plaques, and certificates. The facilities with Green Keys continue to be inspected throughout the year, and in cases that no longer meet the criteria, the award is withdrawn before the end of the year. We are proud that Türkiye is ranked 10th among 60 countries and that we are among 109 Green Key facilities in our country as of 2022.
